If dogs could write their own birthday wish lists, it might look something like this: unlimited snacks, time in the sun, a ride in the car, and maybe plenty of squeaky toys. Archie, a seven-year-old rescue pup, didn’t exactly draft a list, but his mom Katelyn seemed to know it by heart. To celebrate his big day, she planned an entire schedule around his favorite activities, making sure her four-legged family member felt like the star he is.

A rescue dog named Archie recently turned seven, and his dog mom, Katelyn, made sure the day was one to remember. In order to mark the milestone, she planned a “seven favorites for seven years” adventure, giving the pup a chance to enjoy all of his most-loved activities in a single day.
The video begins with Archie basking in the sunshine. Sitting outside with his mom, he looks completely content, soaking up the warmth of the morning. From there, the day quickly turns into a string of adventures. Katelyn takes him for a car ride, with the big highlight being a stop for a “pup cup.” Archie happily devours the whipped cream treat, his face covered in it as he barks with excitement.
Next on the list is a trip to the park, where Archie gets to enjoy the scenery of the lake and plenty of space to roam. True to form, he doesn’t just stick to the walking trail. He also hops up onto a nearby bench, a quirky habit that Katelyn says has always been one of his favorite pastimes. Back home in the yard, Archie is joined by his two furry siblings, Teddy and Roo, who spend time playing together, running around, and enjoying each other’s company.
As any birthday should, the day also included presents. Archie received a basket full of goodies from his mom, including new toys and a soft blanket to snuggle with. Among the gifts was a plush fish toy that instantly captured his heart. In the video’s final moments, Archie can be seen licking the toy over and over, clearly overjoyed by the thoughtful surprise.
