Teddy the Golden Retriever was recently put to the test by his owner, who decided to see how he and his dog sibling, Archie, would respond to a remote-controlled bug crawling across the floor. At first, Teddy watches the moving bug with a mix of suspicion and concern. He stays alert, trying to figure out whether the strange object is a friend, a foe, or something in between.
As the bug crawls closer, Teddy hesitantly steps off the couch to investigate, but quickly decides he wants no part in whatever this thing is. Then, in the most relatable move possible, he grabs his plush toy (referred to as his “emotional support” stuffed animal) and retreats to a safe distance.
Meanwhile, Archie takes a very different approach. Rather than fear or confusion, Archie immediately goes into protective mode. The moment the bug gets too close, he charges in and slams his paw down on it over and over, clearly determined to end the “threat.” The contrast between the two dogs had viewers laughing out loud.
