Video: Puppy Wants to Swim with Furry Sibling But Struggles to Jump Into Water

Who does not love a little swim time in the deep blue sea? Even these furry babies, Apollo and Neptune, love to splish splash in the water. While the older brother, Apollo, has no issues diving into the water, his younger sibling, Neptune, struggles to jump into the sea. The pooch is desperate to take the plunge, but he is just not able to dive in. Watch the following Instagram video showing what this puppy does when he is scared to jump into the sea for swimming.

Instagram video shows what Golden Retriever does when it wants to swim

Keeping most of the dogs out of water is next to impossible. Take these two pups — German Shepherd Apollo and Golden Retriever Neptune — for instance. The video, @apollo_germanshepherd, shows the real struggle of the Golden puppy, who wants to swim but is scared to jump into the water.

The clip shows Apollo swimming in the sea with his pet parent. Meanwhile, Neptune is seen wagging his tail, barking, and running back and forth on the boat’s edge, hinting he eagerly wants to go swimming. However, he is somewhat afraid to jump into the water. But don’t think the pooch is not trying hard enough or his pet parents are not encouraging him.

The little pup tries his best to overcome his fear. He takes his position to jump and swim as his owners say encouraging words. However, for some reason, Neptune avoids taking the plunge at the last minute. Nevertheless, the canine’s attempt left many netizens impressed. Many Instagram users took over the comment section to encourage Neptune.

One user mentioned, “You can do it baby!.” Another commenter wrote, “You can do it BABY ! You have to lifeguards there to SAVE you.” Some users even suggested the pet parents give Neptune a “life jacket” to make him feel safe and secure while swimming. However, many said that the puppy will surely jump into the water someday. One person commented, “He will in his own time …… just leave him be,” while another mentioned, “He will soon.”
