The pup is still adjusting to sharing his dad after the sweet family welcomed their new furry family member, Miso, last month. It’s safe to say the journey has had its ups and downs. This is because Cactus’s first impression of the cat did not go well, but he eventually started to come around.
Despite the upside in Cactus’s behaviour around Miso with time, there are days when he can still have his vulnerable moments. The emotion was recently captured in a video. The rescue pup silently stared from behind as Brown lovingly gave scratches to Miso. Cactus’s eyes remained on his dad, and he continued to watch him with a longing expression.
At one point, Cactus finally decided it was his turn to receive his doting dad’s love. The pup walked towards Brown and stood in front of him, appearing to demand some cuddles. Brown was quick to catch on to what Cactus wanted as he said, “You’re a good boy too.” The dad then scooped the rescue pup up in his arms and gave him cuddles and belly rubs.
Moreover, Brown seemingly understood that Cactus felt vulnerable in the moment about sharing his dad. He affectionately told the puppy, “You’re still my bubby.” Meanwhile, Cactus looked content after getting some love from his dad. The heartwarming video amassed almost five million views.
