Video of ‘Unsocial’ Dog at Park Connects With Many on TikTok

While dogs are known to be the friendliest beings, not all can be extroverts. This video of an “unsocial” dog named Milo struggling at the park connected with many on TikTok, possibly because of his cuteness and antisocial conduct at New York City’s Madison Square Park.

Milo, a tiny Dachshund, seemed agitated to be there for a walk and attempted to leave at every chance he got. The post has since amassed more than a million views and over a hundred thousand likes, owing to its reliability, which commenters quickly pointed out.

Dachshund keeps running out of dog park on seeing another dog

Countless TikTok users could relate to this dog running out of the park after seeing fellow furry mates in this viral video. An “unsocial” Dachshund named Milo broke the internet after refusing to play or associate with other dogs around him at Madison Square Park. The short slip showed the pooch patiently waiting for his dog parents to escort him out of the extremely social setting as he took tiny, anxious steps towards them, appearing as awkward as possible. The text read, “POV: You have the most unsocial dog.”

The following part featured Milo walking toward the exit gate and running out of the park every time someone held it open. One snippet showed him hurriedly walking out through the gates as soon as another lady entered with her pup. However, the woman quickly noticed the dog escape and brought him in. The text over the video now reads, “Tried to escape every chance he gets.” Then, the Dachshund adorably awaited his turn to leave again just after seeing two other dogs around him.

Commenters connected with the dog’s park video, with many pointing out that “he said it’s time to go.” Another user found his “unsocial” behavior relatable and wrote, “Me at any social event.” However, some comments expressed concerns about Milo’s conduct, noting it appeared he was “not having a good time.” Another individual remarked, “If your dog doesn’t like the dog park don’t take them there.”

In a follow-up video, the dog parents shared about Milo being an “introverted” puppy. The post noted that he is scared of other dogs and is still learning to socialize. In addition, they explained that bringing him to the park helps him “get more comfortable.” The caption further assured that he “is always safe and supervised and getting better everyday.”
