A heartwarming after-surgery transformation video of a dog named Leo who had an infected leg, won the hearts of many on social media. Niall Harbison, residing in Thailand, has a mission to save the lives of as many dogs as possible.
Recently, he took to his official community Instagram account @niall.harbison to share the video of the dog’s transformation. In the post, he revealed Leo’s three-month-long inspiring journey to become happy and start running freely again.
Video shows dog recovering from an infected leg and running carefree again
An emotional video of Leo garnered a lot of positive attention from people all around the globe. The clip showcased his recovery from having an infected leg to undergoing a miraculous transformation after surgery. Social media users are happy to see the dog smile and run again.
In the caption of the Instagram video, the dog’s rescuer Niall Harbison wrote, “I’ve never seen Leo Messi as happy as he has been in the last few days.” He also disclosed that the dog had to go through a major operation to take his leg off only for the better.
The rescuer also revealed that the operation transformed Leo’s life completely and he had become so much happier. Harbison explained, “He had his operation last week to take off his leg and it has changed his life for the better.” He continued, “He’s back running and smiling again.”
The post also featured Harbison opening up about how they spend a lot of time trying their best to train Leo and create a new leg for him. However, the operation was the final solution. He expressed, “We tried everything including Sybille spending countless hours making him a leg and trying to train him but eventually it was the full operation that was needed.”
Towards the end of the caption, Niall Harbison happily revealed that after the three-month-long struggle and recovery, all Leo wanted was “to run and play.” The Instagram video showed the dog Leo carefreely running again.
