The momager recently showcased the pup’s impressive talents as he flawlessly completed his on-stage duty during a theatre performance.
Video shows dog running to deliver a piece of paper on stage
The Joy Crew took to Instagram to share the video of Whidbey’s debut on stage with the live audience. In the clip, the pup patiently, yet excitedly, waits backstage for his cue. Whidbey also glances back at his mom, Joy, as he gets ready for his first solo role. After the performer signals, the trainer gives the message card to the canine. As Whidbey walks on stage and brings the piece of paper, he is met with a loud cheer, leaving the audience in awe.
Whidbey then delivers the paper to the performer and continues to do a handshake, without a miss. The pup returns backstage after the entertainer signals him to go back in. “He’s so proud of himself,” the video noted. The caption also mentioned, “There is something so special about an audience’s true candid reaction.”
The Instagram video was quick to garner attention on the platform and has over two million views at the time of writing. Several users gushed about Whidbey’s skills as the clip made rounds. One wrote, “Not even a single look at the audience, a real professional!” Another stated, “GIVE HIM AN AWARD NOW.” Meanwhile, a third joked, “Showed this to my dog to show him that some dogs have JOBS.”
The Joy Crew website notes Whidbey enjoys playing frisbee, agility, and learning new tricks. Besides that, the furbaby’s “personality is goofy, gentle, kind, with a dash of sneakiness.”
