The AGT dog act Golden Buzzer moment began like a regular acrobatic audition before a surprise twist changed everything. Acro Canine Crew, from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, brought dancers and trained dogs together on the AGT 2026 stage. The America’s Got Talent canine routine quickly turned into one of the season’s most joyful early auditions.
Dog act surprises ‘AGT’ judges and wins the golden buzzer from host Terry Crews
As seen on the YouTube video above, the Acro Canine Crew appeared on America’s Got Talent 2026 auditions. The group said its performers range from ages seven to 21. They also told the judges they felt like family, with sisters and cousins in the team. When asked about prize money, they said they wanted to upgrade their studio space.
The audition started as a high-energy dance and acrobatic routine. Then the dogs entered, turning the stage into a fast-moving mix of jumps, spins, catches, and synchronized tricks. One dog leaped from an elevated platform into a performer’s arms. Another moved through the choreography as the dancers held poses and flipped across the AGT stage.
Sofía Vergara reacted loudly during the performance and later said it combined her “two favorite acts.” She called it dancing and a dog act together. Mel B said Vergara had been screaming the whole way. Howie Mandel also praised the group, saying they blew him away. The dogs wore matching red accents, which made the team look even more coordinated.
Then Terry Crews stopped the judges’ comments and ran toward the panel. He said, “I have never ever seen anything like this in my life,” before pressing the Golden Buzzer. Golden confetti fell as the dancers cried and hugged the dogs. The AGT dog act Golden Buzzer now sends Acro Canine Crew straight to the Live Shows. Simon Cowell also hugged and kissed a dog from the group at the end.
Fans loved the surprise in the comments. One wrote, “I guarantee you, NOBODY was expecting DOGS to be part of the act!” Another added, “They got the well deserved golden buzzer!” A third said, “This brought the biggest smile to my face when the dogs came out!”
