Glen Powell’s decision to get Brisket home has an interesting backstory
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Anthony Ramos talked about how Glen Powell decided to adopt the cute canine. The former revealed that seeing his dog Prince roam around the set of “Twisters” motivated Powell to get one for himself. He eventually ended up adopting Brisket. The dog has been winning hearts on the internet since Powell introduced him on his Instagram in July last year.
During the interview, Ramos shared the intriguing story. He explained, “I remember when Glen was on set, and he was thinking about getting a dog.” The actor continued, “Prince would be around all the time, and he (Glen Powell) was like, ‘Yo, bro, you think I should do it?”
Everybody on the film’s set had then told him that it would be great for Glen Powell to get a furry friend, as revealed by Ramos. He disclosed, “And everyone was like, ‘Yeah, bro, it’s a lot of responsibility, but it’s great, man. It’s great if you could swing it.” The actor further gushed about Brisket by saying that he “is the perfect size to travel with him.” Anthony added, “He’s such a sweet dog. He’s super fun.”
The “In the Heights” actor further jokingly expressed his wish to get both their pets – Brisket and Prince – together if there was any sequel to “Twisters.”
