TikTok users Emily (@wally_the_pit) and Roni (@we.three.pitties) received a message about a rescue puppy in “rough shape” that needed foster care. The two friends and fellow foster parents saw this as the perfect opportunity to raise the puppy together. The puppy was undergoing treatment for infection even before the process. Since then, she has not only been given a name, Gloria (or Glo) but also had a miraculous transformation. Moreover, the two TikTokers have documented the rescue puppy’s journey on social media through various TikTok and Instagram videos.

In June 2024, Emily and Roni announced their decision to foster a rescue puppy through Hope Animal Rescue. At the time, the puppy was in a rough state and was undergoing treatment for demodex mange, a skin infection, and some coughing and wheezing. As a testament to their friendship, the two decided to co-foster the puppy.
At the center, they realized the rescue puppy was found as a stray. They had initially suspected the puppy to be 9 to 10 weeks old, but the rescue turned out to be over a year old with a full-grown set of teeth. Soon enough, they named the puppy Gloria (Glo) and introduced her to the world. From then on, they provided Glo with the best care they could give.
Glo received medicated baths several times a week and met Emily’s dog, Wally, and fellow foster dog, Rosie. Meanwhile, the dogs also celebrated the Fourth of July together. In only three weeks of being under foster care, Glo’s skin condition improved, and she looked healthier. By the end of July 2024, Glo also received her spay surgery and a top-notch glow-up.
Emily and Roni also provided the rescue puppy with self-care treatments and vitamin supplements, took her on a walk, and made her spend time with other dogs. The two foster parents and BFFs, or “Best Fostering Friends,” as they call it, have managed to completely change Glo’s life in six weeks. It now seems only a matter of time before Glo gets adopted into a loving and caring home.
