The Instagram reel was split into two, with the top half featuring the “Lucas’ version” and the bottom half featuring the original “Fortnight” music video. He recreated the scenes where Taylor Swift and Post Malone can be seen typing away on their typewriters.

The adorable dog donned a blonde wig and black dress for his Taylor Swift cosplay. He also nailed down minute details like the lace gloves. However, Lucas skipped the wig for his Post Malone cosplay and wore a fit that closely resembled the rapper’s suit.

The Instagram reel was captioned, “I look like @taylorswift in this light, i’m lovin’ it.” It has garnered over 34,000 likes, with many praising the attention to detail in making the video.

Per People, Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone is the lead single and opening track of her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” In the music video, Swift and Malone play the role of lovers. Taylor Swift herself directed the MV, and she produced the song with Jack Antonoff, while Rodrigo Prieto did the cinematography.

What’s more, on the day of the release of “Fortnight,” the song broke the single-day streaming record on Spotify, overtaking Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Lucas the Dog is well-known for his love for Taylor Swift. The Instagram account often posts content showcasing the canine’s adoration for the singer-songwriter. The pup also recreated the album covers of “The Tortured Poets Department.”
