In the midst of an Oregon winter, this Pomeranian found himself without a home, as The Sacramento Bee reports. Fortunately, the aforementioned Greenhill Humane Society in Eugene welcomed Crouton into their care. The shelter shared a post on Facebook and Instagram, urging people to adopt this adorable dog.
The veterinary team at the animal shelter performed examinations on the dog, revealing that Crouton is blind. Additionally, he suffers from arthritis in his joints, occasionally experiencing dislocated kneecaps, known as patellar luxation. He also has allergies that result in fur loss.
According to the Facebook post, the senior Pomeranian is an excellent companion despite his challenges. Like most Pomeranians, Crouton is cheerful, energetic, and playful. In the words of the shelter, “Despite his age, Crouton is still active.”
Crouton maintains a lively demeanor and is described as a happy, sociable pup who delights in playtime with toys. In addition, Crouton demonstrates remarkable adaptability in compensating for his blindness.

Furthermore, the organization expressed that Crouton’s affectionate nature and boundless love will undoubtedly fill his new family with overwhelming joy. They added, “Everyone who meets him can’t help but fall in love!”
