Corgi Service Dog Hailed as ‘Dream Passenger’ in Airplane TikTok

The video of a TikTok user seated on an airplane flight next to someone’s Corgi service dog has delighted the internet, with many hailing the pup as a “dream passenger.”

TikTok video of Corgi service dog sitting in plane

The video, posted to TikTok a few days ago by user @mariahh, shows the pretty chilled black and white Corgi casually seated on the plane wearing a vest that says “service dog.”

It’s not unusual to spot dogs on planes with their human companions. However, not everyone has experienced the rare opportunity of having an irresistibly charming Corgi service dog as a seatmate.

The TikToker shared a caption along with the video that reads: “I LOVE HIM.”

Undoubtedly, this video can leave any Corgi lover grinning from ear to ear. Going by the comment section, almost everyone seemed smitten by the furry passenger.

One TikTok user commented: “A service Corgi??! That’s what dreams are made of.”

Another wrote: “That’s like the best possible thing that could happen on a flight.”

One unimpressed user added: “I can with 100% certainty say that is a fake service dog. Real service dog handlers know their dogs aren’t allowed to sit on the seats.”

Are service dogs allowed on planes?

Service dogs play an important role in the lives of people living with disabilities. For this reason, airlines allow these animals if they meet the requirements of a fully-trained service dog.

If you’re planning on flying with a service dog, it’s best to first familiarize yourself with the airline’s policies related to traveling with a service dog. These policies and required documentation may vary from one airline to another.

For people with allergies, it’s always a good practice to contact the airline’s reservation service and inquire whether their flight has passengers traveling with dogs.

In the case of the TikToker who sat next to the Corgi service dog, she clarified that the airline asked whether she was okay being next to the dog, to which she said yes.
