While speaking about his routine with New Your Times in 2020, Zachary Quinto said he has a “10-year-old terrier mix named Skunk — he’s a little guy, like 20 pounds.”

Although not much is known about Skunk’s background, renowned photographer Mike Ruiz spoke about Zachary Quinto and his fur baby Skunk in one of his Instagram posts

In the post, the photographer mentioned that Skunk is a “sweet senior rescue” who was “saved from a life” that the canine “didn’t deserve”, all thanks to the actor.

Now Skunk is no less than a celebrity. From taking frequent flights with Zachary Quinto to featuring in PhotoBook Magazine cover to going on rehearsals with the actor, the pup is living his best life.

The breed of Zachary Quinto’s dog Skunk is a terrier mix. The dogs of this breed are highly energetic and require constant training from a young age. Being of independent nature, these dogs can sometime become stubborn. The weight of terrier mix ranges from 10-60 pounds, while lifespan can be somewhere from 12-15 years, based on the specific breeds.

Skunk is not Zachary Quinto’s only pet. The star was also a dog dad to Irish Wolfhound-terrier mix Noah, who sadly passed away in 2017 after being a part of his family for 14 years. Currently, Zachary Quinto is a pet parent to rescue dogs River and Rocco.
