Our Story:
I met Nakita one Saturday in December of 2004, when I went to PetSmart. The local humane society brought animals there. I had been let go from work early and had this gut feeling that I should go to PetSmart and see what animals they had.
As I went up the aisle where the cats and dogs were, this little puppy was hopping — yes hopping — not jumping. I immediately asked the person to let me play with her…the minute we saw each other I knew that she was going to be mine.
She has brought so much joy and happiness to my life.
Nakita has such personality and everyone who has ever met her is just amazed by her. I feel blessed that she is in my life. One of my friends has told me that Keeter has an old soul, and just an outstanding personality. She is my kid and she is spoiled rotten, but by the same token she spoils me with her kisses and unconditional love. She is a gift every single day!!!!
