The clip begins with the owner capturing the moment when the pup refuses to “continue her walk” mid-way. While the dog mom’s husband continues the walk with their other furbaby, she is dragged home by Daisy.
The owner initially seems confused by the pup’s urgency to rush home. She thinks Daisy may be acting this way because “it was hot outside.” The dog mom seems surprised as she has never seen the Golden walk with such speed. The canine even ignores their neighbors, who try to greet her. When they enter their house, the pet parent wonders, “What is she in a rush for??”
She gets her answer once Daisy walks into the kitchen. Through an in-video text, she explains that she had left “some cooked chicken on the counter.” So, before going for their walk, she had promised the pup that she would give her furry friend some chicken once they were home. Hence, the furbaby drags her mom home after walking for only five minutes.
Towards the end of the video, the excited Golden Retriever finally enjoys a piece of chicken. However, she has to wait for her sister so that they can have dinner together. The dog mom jokes in the caption, noting, “Just a girl and her priorities.”
