Our Story:
After my other precious dog passed away from bone cancer early this year, I went onto Petfinder to look for a rescue dog to adopt. I looked for months before I saw a posting of a 8 month old female Shih Tzu who they’d named Angel. I met her for the first time on June 12, 2009, and I adopted her on the spot.
Being a stubborn Shih Tzu, it took a while for me to get used to her quirks but I love her to pieces now. She loves to play with other dogs when she gets to go to doggie day care for the day and she just loves squeaky toys. She passed her Puppy Obedience class with flying colors and is now in Intermediate Obedience.
My goal is to have her pass her Service Dog requirements some day so I can take her to Assisted Living Facilities, schools or hospitals. She just loves everyone and is very gentle with them.
