As Snuffles’ status is apparently in flux, a dog in the U.S. with a similar deformity found a forever home on Thursday.
According to the Kentucky Humane Society, a 2-month-old dog named Snorkle (who is thought to be a Pointer–Australian Shepherd mix), was born with what also appears to be two noses.
“[Snorkle’s nose is] bifurcated,” KHS spokesperson Beth Haendiges told WDRB News, “which means it’s got a split down the middle and one nostril is on one side one nostril on the other with an actual break between the two.”
According to the KHS Facebook page, Snorkle was adopted by Louisville residents Andy Eastes and Morgaan Wlison and and their two children, 6-month-old Neila and 7-year-old Zaveaa.
