Golden Retrievers Practice Being Cutest Ring Bearers in Adorable Video

While most people lose sleep over seating charts, Gamja and Chip had other things to worry about — namely, their “wedding walk.” These two stars from @gamjamypotato in California were determined to be the absolute best Golden Retrievers to ever act as a ring bearer.

Since they understand both Korean and English, these two have basically been in a three-month-long bilingual boot camp. All to make sure their auntie’s big day was flawless. It wasn’t just about the cute bows either. These two genuinely put in the work, practicing their walk in every corner of the house with serious focus.

Golden Retrievers’ ring bearing plans didn’t go as planned, but ended with lots of pets

The video shows Gamja and Chip practicing carrying tiny baskets in their mouths. They didn’t just wing it, either. They rehearsed in the kitchen, out on the sidewalk with distractions, and even in their pajamas during a late-night hallway rehearsal. You can tell just by looking at them that they were giving it 110% for their family.

Of course, weddings have a way of throwing curveballs at you when you least expect them. After training every single day for three months, a sudden venue rule sadly kept them from walking the aisle.

Their owner shared the bittersweet update, saying, “Not the ending we planned, but still full of love.” Even though they were benched from the aisle walk, they still showed up in their wedding finery to take the most stunning photos with the bride and groom.

Even though they didn’t get to walk the aisle, the day ended on a really high note anyway. Since they weren’t busy with official duties, they spent the rest of the day getting endless scritches and pets from the guests. The post has already racked up nearly 10,000 likes. With people falling in love with their dedication. Gamja and Chip even joked in the comments, asking, “Anybody want to hire us for their wedding?” After seeing that level of commitment, they might have a very busy wedding season ahead.
