Watching football just isn’t the same without some snacks to hand, and now you can enjoy the big game alongside your dog – who can devour some snacks of their own too – like a 7-layer dip.

The dog food brand Cesar have worked in collaboration with chef and Food Network star Jeff Mauro, and his dogs Pinot G and JoJo. Together, they’ve created the Match Up Menu, which comprises a range of dog-friendly snacks and treats.

Watching Together With a 7-Layer Dip

One of the flagship treats is a Cesar 7-Layer Dip, created by layering Cesar Simply Crafted dog food, Cesar dry dog food, and Cesar soft dog treats. Other snacks fit for canine pals include Tail-Wagging Wings, Nachos Pupreme, and Spot’s Tater Skins.

“Food brings people together, and this football season, the spread is not complete until your dog has something to dine on too,” said Mauro, “I love Chicago-style Italian Beef on game day, and the Cesar brand has inspired me to treat Pinot G and JoJo to flavor combinations that match football food favorites, giving them the touchdown experience they deserve and the high-quality ingredients and flavors they crave”.

Pups and their parents who can make it to Yee-Haw Brewing Co. in Nashville, Tennessee on Oct. 9 can try Cesar’s Match Up Menu too. There’s set to be a watch party for the Tennessee Titans, with plenty of football snacks for both dogs and their parents.

Enjoying Snacks in Moderation

Snacks and treats are a great way to give our dogs a little something to show our love and appreciation for them, but they’re best in moderation.

Some treats are high in sugar and fat, causing weight gain and various health problems, so it’s important to look out for the right treats for your pup. It’s best to check the ingredients list and consult your veterinarian if you’re unsure – and ensure that your dog eats their regular food before they get a full stomach from their favorite treats.
