An Instagram video shows a rescue dog named Cactus has formed a bond with his owner’s foster puppy, Cowboy. Whenever he sees the little one in his pen, the rescue dog wants him to come out. Cactus expresses his dissatisfaction through little barks when he wants to play with the pup while he is in the pen. The caption of the post explains that Cactus demands that Cowboy be let out. “Their little friendship is truly something else,” it continues.
Rescue dog demands dad let out foster puppy from the pen for playtime
In the adorable dog video on Instagram, the owner highlights exactly how his rescue dog, Cactus, demands playtime with the foster puppy. The clip begins with the pooch standing beside the little pen that surrounds the pup. Then, the owner asks Cactus, “Do you want the puppy to come out?” Cactus’ continuous tail wagging gives a clear answer, but he makes sure his human understands him completely. So he whines, almost as if responding in the affirmative.
Furthermore, Cactus also throws tantrums by jumping on the bed and demanding that the foster pup be let out. Then, Cactus’ wait is finally over, and he gets exactly what he seems to be asking for. The owner brings the tiny baby over to him and asks Cactus if he’s excited to see him, which he visibly is.
Soon, the two start playing, and the big brother lets the little one do whatever he wants. Many viewers have loved the video and asked if Cactus’ owner will also keep Cowboy. “Cowboy and cactus are a package deal now,” one user commented. Another wrote, “Cowboy is giving Cactus the confidence he needs.”
Many other users left heart emojis in the comments, too. The post has received over 400K likes so far.
