Shelter Dog Tries To Comfort Himself After Being Returned From Foster Care

A shelter dog has found a way to comfort himself in the loneliness of the kennel. An Instagram video explains that the pooch has received many adoption applications. However, none of the humans were trained to take care of the English Bulldog. He once received a second chance at life when a foster carer saved him. But since he was returned, the pet named Bangles started sucking on his blanket for comfort.

In the caption, the shelter pleads, “We fought to save his life. Now we need someone to give him the home he was promised. A couch. A routine. A person to call his own.”

Shelter dog, returned from foster care, comforts himself while hoping for a loving forever home

In a heartbreaking dog video on Instagram, a shelter English Bulldog named Bangles is still waiting to be adopted. He comforts himself by sucking on the blanket in his kennel. According to the clip, the pooch received many applications after his story went viral online. However, none of the potential adopters have the “experience or willingness to work with him.”

Through on-screen texts, the uploader mentions that Bangles needs special care. He appears to need a home where the human understands his breed. “He’s a good dog, just needs a little help.” Meanwhile, the video highlights how the pooch shows calmness when he receives pets and attention. However, in his kennel, he sucks on his blanket to seek comfort whenever he feels lonely.

“He was saved from euthanasia when a foster stepped up, but after being returned, he’s back to spending his days in a kennel,” the caption reads. Now, Bangles waits for his forever home, preferably one that is only meant for him. “This sweet English Bulldog needs an experienced handler and an adult-only home,” the caption states.

The Instagram post has garnered over 2K likes as of writing.
