A shelter dog and her kids are in need of help. A user named @frompitstopeaches has shared a shocking video from an animal service on their Instagram page. The video follows a mama shelter dog and her nine puppies living in the shelter, which currently has over 100 canines. The uploader appeals for the urgent adoption of the family to give them a better life.
Mama shelter dog has 9 puppies beside her as they all wait for a loving family.
The video requests the adoption of a mama shelter dog and her nine puppies. The canine wasn’t spayed, which resulted in her giving birth to nine babies. For the unversed, spaying is the procedure to remove the reproductive organs of a female dog through a routine veterinary surgery. The above-mentioned clip shows how the pooch has now landed in a shelter with her nine pups. To make matters worse, Fulton County Animal Services, the shelter, is currently at 100 dogs over capacity.
This has resulted in a crisis for the pups and the animal service. “And just this week, there are currently 40 puppies in the shelter, and many of them are not even old enough to be adopted yet,” the caption of the post read. Moreover, the page raised awareness about spaying and neutering. The mama canine and the shelter are now dealing with the consequences, which they never chose.
“When unwanted litters keep coming, our shelters are the ones left trying to find space for them,” the caption continued. The shelter is in need of fosters and adopters, as it currently has 40 puppies, while many are not even old enough for adoption. There will be room for 10 dogs at once if the mama dog and her puppies are adopted.
Additionally, the caption read that the dogs will never stop coming. Thus, people need to step up to help these innocent creatures. The page also said the shelter will prepare for a devastating week if there is no major response from their community. If one wants to adopt the mama dog and her kids, they can visit Fulton County Animal Services. It’s located at 1251 Fulton Industrial Blvd NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30336.
