Golden Retriever wins over cat friend after trying for over a year
An adorable video on Instagram showcased a cute Golden Retriever dog named Nova finally winning over her cat friend named Boots after trying her best to be friends with the cat for over a year. The video has captured the hearts of many netizens.
In the caption, the pet parent revealed, “This has been a year in the making…backstory: boots is an outside cat and likes to visit nova’s grandparent’s house.” The pet parent continued, “nova gets so excited whenever she sees him there.” The dog parent also added, “she wants to be friends with every animal she sees.”
The Instagram video started by giving a closer look at the adorable cat, Boots, visiting the Golden Retriever, Nova’s grandparents’ home. He was standing right in front of the front door of their place. In the meantime, the text written over the clip read, “My dog has been trying to make friends with this cat for a whole year now.” As the clip went on, viewers could see the Golden Retriever getting super happy and excited as soon as she saw Boots, her cat friend. However, the cat was not ready yet and went away from the house.
But soon, the cat came back, and this time he entered the house. The dog didn’t give up and showed the cat how she wanted to be friends with him. And, eventually, the dog won the cat over, and they finally became friends. The video will brighten up anyone’s day.
