In a touching Instagram video, a family adopts a new furry member after losing their beloved pet, Chloe. The clip begins with the pet parents and their son grieving over the demise of their “16-year-old soul dog.” The dog mom says she couldn’t stop crying, and her heart broke when she saw her son longing for the late pooch.
Moreover, the owner’s other dog, Vixie, “seemed lost without her best friend around.” Although days passed, the family found it difficult to move on. She was rescued from the streets of South L.A., and later, a foster family got her out of the shelter.
