Dog acts innocent when mom catches him and grandma sneaking out for pup cups
The clip, shared by @bigdieselthemal, features Diesel, an Alaskan Malamute, seemingly teaming up with his grandma for a quick outing. It begins in the garage, where his grandma is seen opening the car door, preparing for him to hop in. An on-screen caption humorously reads, “BUSTED: grandma trying to steal my dog for pup cups.”
Just as Diesel attempts to climb into the car, his mom walks in and catches them mid-act. She immediately questions where they are headed, interrupting what appears to be a carefully planned escape. The pup instantly switches to an innocent stance, avoiding eye contact and acting as though he has no idea what’s going on.
His grandma, on the other hand, briefly gives away their plan. She initially admits they were heading out for pup cups, but quickly changes her answer to “post office,” seemingly trying to cover up the real reason for the trip. The quick switch only adds to the humor of the moment.
Diesel’s mom isn’t convinced and tells her that her dog isn’t going along. What’s more, his grandma jokingly blames Diesel for getting them caught, saying his size slowed him down while trying to get into the car.
In the comments, his mom later shared that despite the failed attempt, Diesel did eventually get his outing. One person pointed out how Diesel avoided looking at his mom, noting how he seemed aware he’d been caught.
