A volunteer, Jessica, who shares adoptable dogs and shelter stories, recently took to Instagram to post the heartwarming video through the account @circlecitypups. Since then, the video has begun to garner significant attention on the social media platform.

A heart-melting video showcased a shelter dog named Jax learning to trust again after his owners surrendered him due to a housing crisis. In the post’s caption, the volunteer wrote, “Jax has stolen my heart.” The person continued, “haven’t been able to stop thinking about him — and his family — since I met him.”
The volunteer further revealed, “His family surrendered him to the shelter as they faced a housing crisis and could no longer care for him.” The person also shared, “We spent two hours together last night and in that time he went from cowering in his kennel to snuggling next to me.”
