Video: Golden Retrievers Prove They Have ‘Selective Hearing’

Raising more than one furbaby becomes challenging when they choose not to listen to their parents. This Instagram video shows how two Golden Retriever siblings decided to have “selective hearing.”

In the clip, Chito and Sicily start a playful fight as they attack each other. As the dogs do not stop wrestling each other, their owner calls out their names. She seemingly wants to end their chaotic behavior early in the morning. But the pets don’t pay heed to their mom’s words and continue with their activity.

Golden Retrievers are in no mood to listen to the owner in hilarious video

In a hilarious dog video on Instagram, two Golden Retrievers do not pay attention to their owner while playing. In the caption, the uploader notes, “When dogs decide to have selective hearing…. And don’t understand the words that are coming out of my mouth!”

The clip begins with the dog mom recording Chito and Sicily rushing towards her. However, before reaching the owner’s side, one of the pets began the playful attack. So, the other dodges it with a big jump. Their battle continues for a long time and doesn’t seem to end soon.

As a warning, the dog mom calls out their names, but it looks like the furbabies suddenly have “selective hearing.” When the woman realizes that none of them are listening, she says, “Every morning!” Furthermore, the Golden Retriever video ends with the dogs’ playful attacks turning a bit aggressive. So, the owner specifically asks Sicily to “be gentle.”

Meanwhile, it looks like an everyday routine for the family. Viewers have also enjoyed watching the funny clip. While one user wrote, “SOOO CUTE,” another commented, “Isn’t that just like kids.” Indeed, parents go through a similar struggle with human babies when they decide to ignore their parents’ presence altogether.

The adorable Golden Retriever video has received over 300 likes at the time of writing.
