Golden Retrievers Have Two Distinct Reactions Upon Meeting Newborn Baby

What happens when Golden Retrievers meet a baby? This Instagram video shows two dogs, Gamja and Chip, meeting their baby brother for the first time. The dog parents bring their kids home and help the pets calm down before the important meeting. Both pooches appear excited and seem to understand that they are to welcome their human sibling. But their reactions differ.

Furthermore, the owner mentions in the caption that she has missed her dogs while she has been in the hospital.

Golden Retrievers are ‘curious and excited’ upon meeting newborn baby brother

In this adorable dog video on Instagram, two Golden Retrievers meet their newborn baby brother for the first time. It begins with the pet parents showering the pooches with kisses and love. Meanwhile, on-screen texts give a countdown before the meet. Additionally, the dog dad begins preparation 48 hours in advance.

It appears the Golden Retrievers understand that their mama is returning home and will not be alone. Ten hours before, the dog dad brought his baby’s cap and let the pooches sniff it. An hour earlier, the two looked super energetic. And then, half an hour before meeting the kid, they meet their dog mom.

Finally, the time comes! Gamja and Cho approach the baby, seeming “curious and excited.” In the comment, the owner mentions, “After their initial meeting, Gamja was more cautious, and Chippie was still excited.” It looks like the two dogs have two distinct reactions upon their first encounter with the newborn.

Meanwhile, viewers have commented that the Golden Retrievers video has “warmed” their hearts. A user also wrote, “The fight to see the baby brother is so cute both trying their best to see from the bassinet.” Another said, “I’m crying this is so amazing. So happy for you guys.”

Moreover, the cute Instagram post has received over 17K likes as of this writing.
