New Shelter Dog Found Shaking in Her Kennel Gets the Best News She Could Hope For

This Instagram video tells the story of a new shelter dog who was shaking in her kennel. A volunteer shares how she found the surrendered pooch, Hazel, at the shelter. According to her, the fur baby was trembling when the woman came to visit her. Instead of approaching the pooch, the volunteer sits down and gives the dog space to come to the human. Soon, Hazel bridges the gap between them and spends a beautiful day with the lady. But it’s not only the best things that happens to the shelter dog.

The frightened dog was struggling to adjust to shelter life before her journey took a joyful turn

In a touching dog video on Instagram, a volunteer tells the story of a new shelter dog named Hazel. The 2-year-old recently arrived at the kennel after her family surrendered her. As per the caption, the family’s cat was constantly attacking the pooch; therefore, the latter ended up at the shelter.

Meanwhile, the volunteer finds Hazel shaking at the kennel when she visits her. So, the woman gives the canine all the time in the world to become comfortable. However, Hazel doesn’t take much time to befriend the lady. In the video, the volunteer mentions that she went into the kennel to make the dog’s day, but Hazel did that for her.

“But little by little, she found the courage to take one step… then another… until she came over, kissed my face, and reminded me just how sweet she truly is,” the caption reads. Furthermore, the volunteer promises the dog that she will help the fur baby find a forever home. In an update, the uploader mentions in the comments that Hazel has found a new mom. The frightened dog has now been adopted.

The new shelter dog video has garnered over 27K likes as of this writing. Many commenters even shared warm words for Hazel, calling her “this sweet angel” and “beautiful.”
