Video: Owner Gives Dog a ‘White Christmas’ With Artificial Snow

A Florida dog dad has gone all out to make the holidays special for his two dogs, especially Luna the Golden Retriever. The owner, famous on Instagram as @brodiethatdood, shared a video that shows how the dog’s wish for a white Christmas turned into a full backyard winter scene, even though it was about 80 degrees outside. And judging by the look on Luna’s face, the temporary winter wonderland was worth every minute.

Dogs enjoy snow as part of their ‘white Christmas’ in video

The video opens with the owner trying to explain reality to Luna. He says, “I’m sorry, Luna, we can’t have a snow day.” Luna looks up at him with big eyes, and the on‑screen text speaks for her: “But I want a white Christmas!” He tries again, reminding her they live in Florida. But Luna’s answer pops up right away: “Figure it out!”

From there, the video jumps to the solution. A crew rolls in to dump artificial snow across the yard. The owner cheers them on, saying, “Good job, everybody, my dogs are gonna love it. Five tons of snow, just for Queen Luna.”

Once the snow settles, Luna and Brodie sprint straight into it. They roll around, dig into piles, and even take down a small snowman. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” plays as the two dogs race through the yard. Brodie wears little snow boots and a Santa hat, while Luna excitedly bolts through the whole thing. Both dogs look thrilled as they play in the snow.

At the end of the video, the owner takes Luna’s paws and asks, “Are you happy? Are you happy with the snow?” Luna looks pleased enough to answer without words. Meanwhile, the caption notes that it was Luna’s first time ever seeing snow, even if it only lasted a few hours.

Viewers celebrate the moment in the comment section, calling it everything from “the best use of money I’ve ever seen” to declaring the owner as “the best dog dad ever.” Others loved watching the dogs have their day, with one writing, “This is amazing! Love seeing Brodie and Luna enjoying the snow.”

The video is an example that if a parent wants to, they can give their dogs a white Christmas — even in Florida.
