‘Angriest Dog’ Shows Big Change in Behavior in Transformation Video

Only love can turn a once-dubbed “angriest dog” into a sweet and friendly furry friend, and an adorable Instagram video proves that. In the video, Al Pacino, the titular dog, has had a heartwarming turnaround. The team at @wearehappydoggo recently shared the video on Instagram showing how a previously feral street dog went from snarling and growling to wagging his tail and soaking up affection.

‘Angriest’ dog is now more trusting of humans in Instagram video

The video introduces the dog at his “angriest” self, with the on-screen text revealing, “When we found him, he had no fur, bad skin and a serious attitude.” According to the rescuers, Al Pacino was “nearly impossible to catch.” However, with patience — and plenty of gentle care — Al started to trust, with the video transitioning to his latest check‑in, where the little dog, still a bit dramatic as the team jokes, “hence the muzzle,” now allows them to bathe him.

The on-screen text rejoices, “But look at him today,” adding, “He’s healthier. More trusting. Still sassy.” In the caption, @wearehappydoggo wrote, “This street dog went from being the angriest dog we’d met to a happy and healthy little guy. Today we stopped by to check‑in on Lil Al Pacino and he’s doing brilliantly!”

The transformation touched thousands of viewers. One supporter commented, “I love Al. He’s a fighter in the best sense. It’s great to see him doing so well!” Another playfully added, “Say hello to my little friend! Sassational Al Pacino.” Others flooded the post with heart emojis and words of encouragement like, “So glad to see Lil Al doing well,” and “Wow what a transformation.”

Additionally, many viewers credited the rescue team’s compassion and patience for Al’s change in attitude, with one commenter noting, “All that trauma would make anyone distrustful of humans. He’s changed so much with love and care.” Despite still being “a little dramatic,” Al’s video shows what kindness and love can do for a street rescue dog who once had nothing but fear.
