The world has its share of mysteries, but few are as downright adorable as this one. Some things just can’t be explained — like why socks disappear in the laundry or, apparently, this. It is all about how a senior Golden Retriever named Bruce managed to put Titanic on TV all by himself.
In the video post from @seniorboybruce, the sweet old guy is caught mid-scene. He is looking up at his human with that goofy, caught-red-pawed face. You can tell he’s all in on the story. According to his mom, she didn’t start the movie. And it wasn’t even queued up. Which just leaves one big, fuzzy question mark.
Owner shares throwback of senior Golden Retriever watching ‘Titanic’ in viral video
The clip by @seniorboybruce starts with Bruce sitting calmly at his human’s feet. Then the camera pans toward the TV. On it Titanic is playing in all its glory. In-video text reads, “Remembering the time I came home to find my dog watching Titanic instead of the dog channel I left on for him.” When the camera turns back to Bruce, he sits there like a gentleman, soft-eyed and proud. It is as if he’s saying, “Don’t worry, Mom, I’m just catching up on a classic.”
His mom later explained in the caption that the video was taken just a month after Bruce came home — and she still has no idea how he managed to get Titanic to play. Fast forward to now, she’s dealing with a flooded kitchen and basement in their 1925-built home, but says Bruce’s calm, loyal presence has helped her stay grounded.
