Foster puppy makes sense of waves in a viral Instagram video
A heartwarming Instagram video of Turkey making sense of the waves upon going to the beach has gone viral. The dog’s foster parent Evan Cooper shared the video and captioned it, “If I was 7 pounds, I would also be scared of waves.”
The video showed Cooper taking Turkey to the beach, along with his dog Vader. It began with Vader jumping out of the car to run to the beach. Meanwhile, the foster parent had to bring the puppy out of the vehicle and guide her to the beach. After that, the video showed Turkey trying to understand the nature of the waves coming towards her little paws. She seemed a little afraid of the vast sea and the waves. She took a few steps back when a small wave came to her.
After seeing the puppy scared of the waves, Evan Cooper tried to encourage her to enjoy them. The foster parent said, “It’s okay, you don’t need to be afraid. It’s okay.” He continued, “Come here, Turkey. There’s nothing to be afraid of. They’re just waves.” When the puppy finally soaked her paws in the seawater, Cooper cheered her up by saying, “Good girl.”
The video further showed Cooper holding the puppy in his arms and making her paws touch the waves. It also featured Turkey and Vader adorably playing with a ball at the beach.
