The wait is over: Prince William and Kate Middleton have named their black Cocker Spaniel puppy.
Its name is Lupo.
The Duchess of Cambridge revealed the dog’s name during a trip to Rose Hill Primary School in Oxford. She was holding a toy dog in front of a classroom of schoolchildren. When some of the children asked her what she should name the toy dog, Middleton replied she would call Lupo, after her own dog.
After the event, a spokesman for St. James Palace confirmed the dog’s name.
The couple was first seen with Lupo in early January on the shores of North Wales.
