Purin might be the most adorable goalkeeper in all of sports. She’s a nine-year-old Beagle with a special talent for soccer. But she doesn’t just defend her goal; she catches soccer balls with her front paws. And she’s gotten really good at it. In fact, she just broke the Guinness World Record for the most balls caught by a dog with the front paws in one minute.
Her new record is 14 mini soccer balls caught, which shattered her old record of 11 from a year ago. Her owner says they practice for 15 minutes every day at their home in Japan. She doesn’t practice to much longer than that, as her owner doesn’t want her to get bored.
Purin is quite an athlete, and she also holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest 10 meters traveled on a ball by a dog. She managed to do it in only 11.90 seconds. Which is probably faster than we could go without falling on our faces.
