Little Terror
Hi! I got a new Maltese puppy when he was 8 weeks. He is 12 weeks today. He is very good in the mornings when he wakes up for about two hours but after that he is constantly nipping and racing around the rec room. He'll sleep and then it starts all over agai. By night time he trys to nip and bite and bark and each bite gets harder. If you pick him up and walk around with him he's an angel! What can I do to stop the nipping and biting?

trainer advice
hi. my maltese is not very interested in treats, but she needs obedience training. i hired a trainer who says she uses a variety of methods, including cesar millan's and ian dunbar's. i like the idea of incorporating different methods, but now i'm a little nervous, what with all the cesar millan controversy. i love dunbar's approach, but i'm skeptical it will work because my baby's not a treat eater.

Maletese -Schnauzer
Hello I have a Mauzer, which is a Maltese Schnauzer. I only have one little problem with him. He pees out of excitement all the time, even if he just had his walk and used about every pole or tree in the neighborhood. :-) He is 2 years old now and when he sees anyone he gets so excited it just comes out of him in drips. Is there anything that can stop this?

My male Maltese peeing where he sleeps/lays.
My Maltese is going to the bathroom where he sleeps. It may be on the pillow, bed, or sofa but he peas and poops where he lays. We also have a female maltese we purchased about 2 months after the male. She uses the peapads except when she feels neglected. We do not know why he does this. We thought maybe the female is being dominant, or she will not let him go to the bathroom in peace. We really do not know w... (continued)
