discussions : Airedale Terrier

I'm considering adopting a male Airedale Terrier puppy but we both work all day and I hate the thought of crate training but I dont have much choice. I'm worried that our living space is too small and that we do not have a fenced in yard. Would it be cruel to get this pup, I'm torn on what to do? Help!!!
