Dog food recipe ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup cold water

Dog food recipe directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine dry ingredients and mix well. Add the remaining ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon to form a stiff dough.

Roll out and cut into "tails," about three inches long and 3/4 inch wide. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 25 minutes. Cool on a rack, then store in an airtight container. Makes approximately 20 biscuits.
