Oh, those incredibly hot dog days of summer! They can be just as unbearable (and dangerous) for your dog as they are for you. If you live in a region that is hot most of the year, you might consider adopting a breed of dog that is best suited to hot weather. Some breeds have been provided with an undercoat which helps regulate their body temperature in various climates.
Remember, when the mercury starts rising, you should always have plenty of fresh water available to keep your dog hydrated.
