This Wolf Is Training To Be A Therapy Dog

Nayeli is great with people. In fact, she’s trying to become a therapy dog. But there’s something different about Nayeli. She’s actually more wolf than dog!

Nayeli lives at the non-profit Wolf Run Wildlife Sanctuary in Nicholasville, Kentucky, and she’s going to school at Sit Means Sit in Lexington to earn her certification to be a therapy dog. This would allow her to do anything from work on television and movie sets to visiting patients in the hospital.

The year-old wolf dog’s training will run for six months, though it’s pretty expensive for the non-profit sanctuary. They are currently raising funds to cover the cost of Nayeli’s schooling. If they can, who knows? Maybe you’ll see Nayeli on the big screen!

You can follow the Wildlife Sanctuary on Facebook for more info.
