Dog Needs Time to Trust Her New Walker, but One Look at the End Says It All

Kiwi wasn’t completely sure about her new walking buddy at first. Kiwi is just shy of turning one year old. Her breed mix makes her especially distinctive. Kiwi is a combination of Husky, German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees, bringing together traits from all three breeds. The result is a striking young dog with expressive eyes, floppy ears and plenty of personality.

Kiwi had already met her new walker, but she still felt unsure when it was time for their first walk. Instead of rushing her, the walker gave Kiwi time to feel comfortable. They stopped to sniff, shared some treats, and let her explore her surroundings. Slowly, Kiwi relaxed and realized she had nothing to fear. Eventually, her hesitation disappeared.
