We’re so grateful to Buster’s adopter!” The post informed that the pet parent travelled all the way from New York City to adopt Buster in West Palm Beach. The adopter even rented a car and took him on the road trip of a lifetime up on the East Coast. The latest update on Buster suggests he has been settled in NYC with his new loving brood.

Meanwhile, the Instagram video showed the meeting between the adopter and the shelter dog, who was calmly standing inside his kennel when his now-owner arrived to pick him up. The fur baby was completely unaware of the fact that he was getting adopted. Thus, when he walked out of those kennel doors, he did not know that it was his last time at the shelter.

As the video went on, the new dog mom explained why she chose to travel such a long mile to choose Buster. She recalled there was something about his “sad” face that made her feel like she “needed to see him.” The dog has now begun his new happy chapter in life.
