This video captured the protective instincts of an adorable Golden Retriever named Toffee kicking in as she saw a toddler named Phoebe playing. The fur baby acted like she was on duty. On July 9, the owner took to Instagram to share the heart-melting video via the account @talesoftoffee1. The clip has begun to receive a lot of attention since then, gaining more than 1K likes on Instagram as of now.
Golden Retriever watches over toddler during playtime like it’s her duty
An adorable video on Instagram showcased a cute Golden Retriever dog named Toffee watching over a toddler named Phoebe during playtime like it’s her duty to do so. The video has been winning hearts on social media as people can’t get enough of the fur baby’s incredible protective instincts.
In the caption, the owner playfully wrote, “Toffee the golden retriever pulled over baby Phoebe for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT, and it did not go well for anyone.” The pet parent continued, “The baby assaulted a police officer, crashed into the sofa, and made a run for it.” The dog owner also added, “The mother has been issued a court summons.”
The Instagram video began by giving a closer look at Toffee, the Golden Retriever dog, and the toddler, Phoebe. The toddler was playing with a toy car. Meanwhile, the dog was intently watching over the little kid. In the meantime, the text written over the clip read, “Nobody asked Toffee to become a traffic officer. She’s on duty anyway.”
As the clip went on, viewers could see the dog blocking the toddler’s way so that she could not move her toy vehicle. The fur baby was keeping a close eye on the little kid as she was feeling super protective. The video will melt anyone’s heart.
