Street Dogs Wait Patiently in Line for Their Turn to Be Groomed, but Not With a Comb

Apparently, all it takes to open the world’s smallest grooming salon is one stick. And a reputation for giving excellent scratches, of course. Shared by @2nomads1indie, the viral clip shows one very relaxed street dog enjoying a head-to-chest “spa session.” Several others, meanwhile, stand nearby, looking like they’ve already accepted the wait time. The best part is that nobody seems confused about what’s happening. They all know exactly why they’re there.

The video opens on the side of a road in Pune, India, with a man kneeling in front of a dog who looks so into whatever is happening with him. On-screen text reads, “Sorry I am busy” followed by “(Grooming street dogs),” and that’s a pretty accurate description of the goings on.

Using nothing more than a stick, he sweetly brushes along the dog’s head while holding his chin with the other hand. The cute street dog stands perfectly still, tail wagging away, clearly enjoying every second of it. Then the stick moves down to his chest, and he just melts into it, as if this is the best part of his daily routine. Meanwhile, the real comedy is happening in the background.

Two more dogs are already lined up behind him, calmly waiting for their turn. One even looks so ready that viewers joked he was practically offering up a paw in advance. But nobody is pushing to the front of the queue. Everyone seems to understand the system.

That trust says a lot. Life isn’t always easy for a street dog, yet here they are willingly stepping forward for a little kindness and a quick fur brushing from someone they clearly know.

The caption reads, “Average Activity in my life:),” and judging by the video’s more than 302,000 likes, plenty of people would happily make that part of their routine, too. One commenter summed it up perfectly: “Everyone waiting in line for their turn. CUTEEE!”
