Human Sees ‘Saddest’ Shelter Dog in the Kennel, Takes Her Out & Realizes She Had Other Plans

This heartbreaking Instagram video shows a shelter dog’s different plan when a human takes her out for a walk. A volunteer comes across the “saddest” pooch at the kennel. She gives her a special privilege by taking her out for over 15-20 minutes. The woman assumes that the fur baby, Nola, wants to explore the outside world or run around. But the 4-year-old soul is not keen to do these activities.

Shelter dog goes out for a walk with human, only wanting to stay by someone’s side

In a sad dog video on Instagram, a human doesn’t expect that a shelter dog won’t be interested in roaming outside. The clip begins with the volunteer coming across Nola, a 4-year-old dog, at the kennel. She believes that the pooch looked at her with the “saddest eyes,” and it broke her heart.

So the volunteer takes the dog for a walk. Then the woman realizes that Nola has different plans, as she seems not to care about “the open space.” She doesn’t want to “explore” or “run around.” Instead, the pooch only wants to “stay by someone’s side.” The duo appears to sit together, watching their surroundings for about 30 minutes.

Furthermore, the volunteer reveals Nola’s story in the caption. The shelter dog was found in February as a stray and was soon adopted. But after a few months, Nola returned to the kennel and was again found as a stray. “Nola has been failed twice. She is only four years old, and you can tell that life has not always been kind to her,” it reads.
