The Instagram reel kicks off with the pup running happily on a leash alongside Drew’s girlfriend, Tina. She stands outside the kennel and immediately falls in love with the lonely resident. They get permission to take her outside for a quick stroll around the property.
Pit Bulls are known for being incredibly people-oriented Velcro dogs, and her desire for affection shows instantly. Drew explains that the pup is named Honeybun but also Oatly, just like the oat milk brand. And her confidence starts skyrocketing the second she leaves her enclosure.
Tina cradles the sweet girl right on the grass while Drew jokingly wonders how she will react when she finally discovers a real living room couch. There’s even a brief look into the future where Oatly does, in fact, discover a couch. They practice a few basic commands in the play yard, and the shelter dog listens perfectly.
