This video of a rescue dog will make you believe in second chances. Uploaded on @countyvalleyrescue, the reel shows a scared Beagle having “restless nights” as he refuses to sleep through the night. And that was not all. The pooch hardly interacted with other rescue pups. He was constantly “pacing” and even avoided “eye contact” with anyone.
The reel also shows the pooch always sitting alone and looking at others from afar. He was not happy or jumping like other pups. His “constant sadness” worried many at the centre. However, things changed for the better after a week, as the pooch now became friendlier than before. He would now go to his humans, “asking for pets,” and would even love to “hold” hands with his companion.
Moreover, the Beagle would even choose to “lay next to a human.” As per the clip, the pup was no longer “scared of the leash” and would go for “two miles walks” in them, without any tantrums. But the best part is the pooch now has “peaceful nights.” Looking at the change, the owner felt “sometimes you just need someone to take a chance on you. so proud of this little guy!”
This story of the rescue pup left the netizens emotional. They even praised the parent for helping the pooch. “This one got me the paw- telling you I trust you, please keep me safe,” said a person.
