Seems like this dog is one innocent pup, as she believes her cat sibling is also a Golden Retriever, just smaller. The parents made sure to capture their pup’s innocence on camera and share it with the world to see and love. No wonder the clip was soon liked by many dog lovers. It has already garnered more than 4K likes at the time of writing.
Dog has convinced herself that cat sibling is another Golden Retriever
This pooch named Lemon is keen on being friends with her cat sibling. Why? Because she thinks the Orange cat is also a Golden Retriever, just like her. The parent uploaded the pup’s efforts on @lemon_poppymarie to show the extent to which the furball is going to strike a deal with the feline. The clip shows the feline walking in the backyard when Lemon suddenly jumps in front of the cat, either to scare her or to hope the sibling will chase her.
But when the cat does nothing, the pooch then blocks her sibling’s way by lying down in front of her. Despite this, the feline remains unfazed and simply looks around as if wondering what the giant pooch is doing. Looking at the pup’s attempts, the parents mention, “POV: your Golden thinks your orange cat is another Golden.” While happy to see how things are turning out between them, the owner confesses that Lemon is “Trying to make friends in the wrong places.”
Nevertheless, Lemon’s efforts were well received by many viewers. A person supported the pup, saying, “Four Paws and a tail, why not?”
Another hoped, “One day it will work.” A third remarked, “Your golden thinks …. I stopped reading there. They just exist.” And it seems Lemon is still convinced about the cat being the same breed as her. Another clip on the account shows the pup having zoomies but thinking that “there’s something wrong with the other tiny “Golden” as the cat does not hop around excitedly to release the pent-up energy like her.
