Daisy and Maple are the sweet Golden Retriever duo from @daisythegoldiee, who usually spend every waking second together in their happy home. However, things got stressful last week when Daisy had to leave for the emergency vet. Her sister, Maple, was absolutely devastated to find her sibling missing from the living room. She spent hours looking for her favorite playmate. The footage of her crying is enough to break anyone’s heart. Luckily, the Golden Retriever sisters’ eventual reunion after one of them went missing involved some of the best cuddles ever captured on film.

The video starts with pet cam footage of a very empty-looking living room. Maple walks in looking for her partner in crime, but when she realizes the room is empty, she lets out a long, whiny cry. She looks visibly agitated as she checks every corner for her big sibling. Previous videos show us that they are inseparable, so this solo time was clearly a shock. One viewer mentioned that hearing those cries made their heart hurt.
A few hours later, the front door finally opens. And Daisy returns home safe, but looks a little different than before. She has a bandage around her hind leg and a cone collar for protection. Maple does not care about the new accessories at all. She is just thrilled to have her Golden Retriever sister back where she belongs.
She immediately brings Daisy a toy as a welcome-home gift. Then she carefully sniffs the bandage to make sure everything is okay. Even Daisy wags her tail despite feeling a bit under the weather. Maple decides to take her job as an “emotional support sister,” as one viewer called her, very seriously. She stays by Daisy’s side while she rests in her bed.
The owner notes that she was even being extra clingy during the recovery process. This breed is known for being incredibly intuitive and just knowing when family members need support. Maple clearly wanted to play but stayed very careful around the injury. She just lies on the hardwood floor right in front of the cone. The video racked up 86.6k likes in just one day because of Daisy’s thoughtful concern for her sister.
